Privacy

What we collect, which is not much.

Effective 2026-08-28. This is a static publication with no accounts, no comments and no advertising.

Analytics

We measure aggregate traffic with Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies, does not store IP addresses in a form that identifies you, and does not track you across sites. We see page views, referrers, countries and device types in aggregate. We cannot identify an individual reader from it.

Hosting logs

The site is served by Netlify, whose infrastructure keeps short-lived server logs (including IP addresses) for security and operations under Netlify's own privacy policy. We do not use those logs to profile readers.

Email

If you email us, we keep the message for as long as it is useful to handle it and to maintain a record of corrections. We do not add correspondents to any list. If we launch a newsletter, it will be opt-in, separately disclosed, and unsubscribable in one click.

Cookies

We set none. Third-party embeds (for example a video) may set their own; we avoid them where we can and note them where we cannot.

Sharing

We do not sell or share reader data. In particular, we do not pass reader information, analytics or leads to our owner, HOA Wiz, Inc., or to any vendor we cover. See the disclosure page.

Your rights

Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, at privacy@hoatechreport.com. Because we hold almost nothing, the honest answer is usually “your emails.”

Changes

Material changes to this page will be dated at the top. The previous version is available on request.
